Women in Film and Video of Maryland, Inc. is an all-volunteer, 501-(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to educating, mentoring, and promoting individuals in radio, film/video, television, multimedia and related disciplines.
WIFV/MD is a founding chapter of Women in Film & Television International (WIFTI), which networks more than forty WIFTI chapters worldwide. Benefiting from the guidance of Jack Gerbes, Director of the Maryland Film Office, WIFV/MD sponsors a scholarship fund, mentoring opportunities, and informational/educational programs throughout the year.
These programs are made possible by charitable contributions, membership dues, grants, and the efforts of volunteers from throughout Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, Pennsylvania and beyond.
